Class Projects
Symposium Proposal: Improving Intonation and Pronunciation Through Interactive Role-Playing Games
This research, created by my classmates and me, aims to explore and demonstrate how role-playing games can be used in the classroom with the purpose of improving pronunciation. For the presentation, we created a game dynamic that is themed after detectives.
Symposium Presentation: Pronunciation Detectives
This presentation contains the key points of the research proposal, theories that support the use of role-playing in the classroom, and a detailed explanation of the game, which is themed after detectives. In this game, the students will be divided into small groups and have to go through five stations, each of which has a set of roles that the students will take on. They must practice a specific skill in each station.
