EDPE-4511

EDPE-4511 is the Teaching Practice in Elementary School Course. Beginning teachers teach four hours a day, five days a week for a semester in Puerto Rico’s public schools, under the guidance and supervision of cooperative teachers and a supervisor of teaching practice. This teaching experience is enriched through lectures, demonstrations, guided observations, and participation in all the activities inherent in the work of an active-duty teacher.

Class Projects

Teacher Work Sample

The Teacher Work Sample is the compilation of the work done during my teaching practice. It includes an in-depth analysis of the environment in my practice school, the teaching decisions taken throughout the semester,  lesson plans, and materials.

School Community Service Project

In this School Community Service Project, you will find a written narrative of the process, decisions, and analytical outlook on a situation that needed to be addressed, and how I addressed it in order to meet the needs of the school community, and how it was improved. In my case, my students had a dire need to work on their companionship skills and this project was my solution to the needs of my students.
