INGL-3227

Class Projects

INGL 3227 is the Phonetic and Phonemics of US English course. This course focuses on English Phonetics in US and intonation. During the semester, attention to oral English and those aspects of English that students have difficulty in speaking Spanish is provided. Phonetic transcription and laboratory practice.

Phonetics Lesson Plan

This project involves creating a lesson plan with accompanying handouts and worksheets based on a selected topic in phonetics. The lesson plan was created based on the standards and expectations of the DEPR. The lesson plan is catered to the twelfth grade and centers on the pronunciation of the j and ch sounds. As for the unit, the lesson plan centers on is Unit 2: Walking Into the Future.
